Doctor Visit Companionship
NewWhen family cannot be there in person, an IshSeva associate can accompany a parent to a pre-scheduled medical appointment and help make the visit less stressful.
Includes
- Accompanying the parent to a pre-scheduled appointment
- Assistance with appropriate non-medical visit logistics
- Being present during waiting periods
- Helping the parent navigate the appointment process
- Taking appropriate factual notes when permitted
- Sharing a structured post-visit update with the designated family contact, with appropriate consent
- Helping coordinate the return home after the appointment where agreed in advance
Not included
- Medical advice or diagnosis
- Choosing treatments or interpreting results
- Signing medical consent forms on behalf of the patient
- Acting as a legal guardian
- Emergency ambulance services
When family can't be there
Someone familiar by their side.
Living away from ageing parents can make even routine appointments stressful. Where available and agreed in advance, an IshSeva associate can accompany a parent to a scheduled appointment, help with appropriate non-medical logistics, and provide the designated family contact with a structured factual update.
