Trust & safety
Trust begins with clarity.
We would rather be small and honest than large and vague. Here is who we are, how we choose our people, and where our role ends.
We may help with
- Companionship & conversation
- Walks together
- Appropriate everyday errands
- Family communication
- Non-clinical appointment company (agreed in advance)
- Doctor visit companionship (where available)
- Coordination support
- Structured family updates
We are not
- A hospital
- A home nursing company
- An ambulance service
- An emergency-response service
- A medical or diagnostic provider
- A replacement for professional healthcare
- A domestic servant service
Our people
Trust starts with who we send.
Inviting someone into a parent's life is a serious responsibility. IshSeva is building a structured process for selecting, screening, preparing, and supporting Family Support Associates before independent family visits.
01
Application & Initial Screening
Review candidate background, availability, communication skills, motivation, and suitability for the role.
02
Personal Interview
Evaluate maturity, patience, judgement, communication, professional boundaries, and comfort interacting respectfully with older adults.
03
Identity & Address Documentation
Require appropriate government-issued identity and address documentation as part of onboarding.
04
References & Appropriate Background Review
Where applicable and operationally available, conduct appropriate reference and verification steps before independent assignments.
05
Training & Scenario Assessment
Prepare selected associates in respectful companionship, boundaries, privacy, family communication, visit procedures, appointment accompaniment, emergency escalation and incident reporting.
06
Pilot Readiness & Ongoing Oversight
Associates must demonstrate readiness before independent assignments. Visit quality, feedback, incidents and adherence to standards may be reviewed as part of ongoing oversight.
IshSeva does not claim to be "100% verified", "guaranteed safe", or "police verified". We describe only the steps we are actively building into the pilot.
Preparation
Prepared for responsibility, not just visits.
IshSeva Family Support Associates are not positioned as doctors, nurses, financial advisers, legal representatives, emergency responders, or domestic servants.
